About Us

Emergency Training & Consulting is one of the only physician owned and operated continuing medical education providers in the area, and the 3rd largest EMS CEU provider in New Jersey. ETC comes to your station or facility to conduct classes, which keeps your department in service for your community. Among the types of classes we offer are medical, technical rescue, haz-mat, WMD, and operations subjects. We teach over 200 classes every year at over 35 different locations. Classes are free for volunteer EMTs eligible for the NJ EMS Training Fund.

ETC offers a large variety of continuing education programs at your station. This allows your department to stay in service, without having to send students to a distant location. We accept the NJ EMS Training Fund, allowing our classes to be free for eligible EMTs. For paid departments or those not eligible, our set rates are reasonable, starting at $200 for a 3 CEU class for an entire department, or $5 per CEU for individuals.
