Bloodborne Pathogens Program
Per OHSA, all organizations that respond to emergencies, or have staff
that assist injured persons, must have a written program for the
management of exposure to bloodborne diseases. Examples of these
organizations include police departments, fire departments and emergency
response teams. This 'Exposure Control Plan' must include policies and
procedures, training, and equipment that minimize exposure to your staff.
Annual refresher training and review of the written program is required.
ETC can help author and update this written program and conduct training
for your staff in its use. This requirement is from both OSHA for private
companies and PEOSH for public agencies.
Cost: $750. Includes 2 hours of on site preparation and review with
your management, the written Exposure Control Plan, and training for all
staff (1 session) as required by OSHA. CEUs are awarded for the training.
